Among the fundraising events organized by our club during the past few years, “The Time Machine” was one of the most memorable. It represented an atypical concert, whose target group consisted of young students, who were interested in the goals our organization pursued and ready to sponsor us.
”Why atypical?” you may wonder. Well, instead of the pop music that is usually the dominant one during youth-focused events, we offered our audience a wide variety of genres. On top of that, the most recent mega hits were replaced by famous songs from different decades, starting with the good old 20’s and finishing with the well-known 2010’s. Since the fans of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson are most often deprived of the rare possibility of enjoying their idols’ performances during a concert; they quiet enjoyed this Interact-special party.
