Rotary Club Chisinau Cosmopolitan organised its first Rotary Poker Charity Fundraiser on Friday, January 18th, 2019. The event brought together 30 people of which 18 were players. Together, they raised 24.700 MDL to contribute to a Rotary/Rotaract project aiming to donate heart monitoring machines (foetal cardiotocographs) to a maternity ward in Chisinau.

Children Rights project of Norwegian Rotarian Kjetil Utne
RCC Cosmopolitan participated in the Children Rights project of Norwegian Rotarian Kjetil Utne. Kjetil is bicycling from Norway to India while working on a photography project to raise awareness of children rights. Our club met with Utne and worked together with him during the Moldovan part of his project.

Rehabilitation of medical gas supply system
Global Grant implementation beginning. Goal – rehabilitation of medical gas supply system in Chisinau Children Hospital nr 1. Project amount Euro 117 000. Implemented in collaboration with RC Haarlemmermeer (Netherlands) and a group of private Dutch donors
Medical equipment donated to Cimislia Regional Hospital.
Supply of 10 tons of medical equipment and consumables for the benefit of Cimislia Regional Hospital serving an area with 60 000 inhabitants. Project done together with RC Kronhuset, Gothenburg and RC Kungsporten, Gothenburg(Sweden). Project amount almost 30 000 Euro.
